Today is Earth Day!! and my uncle’s bday….^^

We had a visitor from Manila who did a product demo and then a brief meeting right after.  There were a few bottled-water containers lying around after the small group parted ways.
It’s Earth Day and I’m thinking recycling!!  =)

Another day in my seemingly never ending hoping & believing & waiting for a miracle to finally happen in the *tot* *tot* category of my life…. It’s not amusing at all…. in fact I am utterly p*ss*d!!  UurRgghh!!

Oh well!!…. time will tell….

Question:  What is common between me, oguri shun and shirota yuu?!!?…

Answer:    We share the same birthdate!!   as in! hihihi….

imagine my surprise…. (not to mention my stupid face! ^^), when i came across this blog of a 16-year old girl who is also an all asian fanatic…. =)
she had a post about shirota yuu…. his bio and some trivia….

i was really surprised to say the least since this shirota yuu i keep on mentioning here happens to be the one and same actor who plays the part of oguri shun’s rival in high jump -> Kagurazaka Makoto in Hana Kimi japan.  May i just say this, they even had a scene where they kissed…. hehehe!! (it was so hilarious!!)

I had no idea that he was also born on the same day as me and shun…. well! of course, on different years… =)

Now, that’s two on my list of celebrities who will be celebrating that day just as i celebrate it…. hahaha!!   we get old  on the same day!! hihihi….

Rain suddenly fell last Sunday… We managed to get wet before safely arriving home… that is detouring at the public market right after hearing mass. It felt weird really since i was just talking about how hot it was. Apparently, the first storm just found it’s way into the country, well, specifically in the Visayas area. Though it didn’t last long, at least the coldness it came with provided a little relief from the heat.

K! Enough about that…. Let’s talk about Charice shall we?!

Her Oprah guesting i assume is already known to majority. It was taped April 2 but the specific airing date in May is yet to be announced.  And then, Oprah is inviting Charice to be on her show again… ^_^
That is Oprah guyz!!  I was like flying…. mainly because i am way proud of who or what or where she is right now…. The time is indeed here for her!!…. She is certainly BIG!!

Bracing for this Oprah episode, another intense news added yet triple excitement to already uber excited fans…. She is AGAIN invited to Ellen de’Generes show…. whOa!! as in!! OMG!!

Her first self-titled album is to be released soon….. internationally….
Super excited to grab my own copy!! haha!!…

And she had a solo guesting in Boy&Kris this morning…. <— this made my day!! ^^

She is very busy nowadays that i wish her good health and safety…. I am patiently waiting for her Oprah guesting while mainly lurking in her fan site…. until i stumble upon another wonderful news about her or another amazing performance from this young international diva… til’ then… God Bless Everyone!!  =)

soOo hOt…

Ok.. it’s almost mid-April. Summer is still at its’ peak and the heat is getting unbearable. Night time?!..sometimes worst than the day heat.. And they say it’ll still get hotter…. Aigoo!! *_*

With all the present issues we have, the heat is the least of our worries…. For one, the rice shortage that is being denied by the government. I’ve read in the internet that this is a worldwide crisis. Fortunately for us, we still have enough to get by, and we have other resources around. I’m pretty much concerned w/ those very poor families w/in the country and those from other countries as well, like India. It was reported that some have resorted to eating clay. How much more now?!
So very depressing!.. Makes me realize that we are still very much blessed!!

This so called rice shortage  have overshadowed the political issues that have been in the news for months. The ZTE deal, Jun Lozada, the Phil-China deal over Spratly Islands..  there were rallies, faith masses, etc. , etc….

On a happy note…

Along side these negative issues are the positive ones.  The heat is definitely on for our Filipino talents. The recent buzz of Filipino singers creating noise in the world’s entertainment scene. Arnel Pineda, the new front man of the band Journey . I’ve heard they are preparing for their European tour and he was just so recently a guest in Ellen de’Generes Show.   How’s that?!! ^^

Huh?!  What?!..
Who’s that?!!?  Charice Pempengco?!  Who’s she?!?!

HAHAHA!! Ok seriously!! I’m one of her super avid fan…. and I definitely know who she is!!…. ^_^

Charice Pempengco the newest sensation….. she is definitely here to conquer the world…. For less than a year, she appeared in various international shows, namely Starking Korea (twice), the Ellen de’Generes show US, just this tuesday on the Paul O’Grady show in London and this May in Oprah.   whew!!

This young lady is unstoppable…. I super love her!!  =)

The positive still outweighs the negative… don’t you think?! ^^

I have only been talking about the national scene…. our local scene has it’s own version of hot issues as well…. maybe i’ll talk a little about that next time….

really now… seriously guyZ!   kawaii!?!!?!  n0t good enough to even begin describing this uber-talented actor i came upon just last week….

my beloved kababayans are aware of the same titled-drama for tv that is being aired in the two rival networks in the country today…. that is HANA KIMI….  the taiwan version w/c was aired in their home-country in 2006 and the japan version w/c was aired just last year…. i am an avid kapamilya but i just have to say this… the jdrama is much better…. i love Fahrenheit and all… i am even a solid fan of iswak, so there’s certainly no bias here…. just a sad note that my choice (the jdrama), is being dubbed and aired @ my least fave network…. i am so not at ease…. mainly bcoz, i have this eerie feeling that the show may not be given the justice it deserves…. and so, i opted to watch the whole drama online rather than waiting for months in front of the tv screen, for what?! merely 30 min. or so for a day…. and to think it maybe hugely edited…. and the horrible feeling of not being able to hear the actors & actresses own voices…. dba! got my point!!?

well!! well!! so, that’s where i came to know my new found love…. nakkkss!!
the leading male character in hana kimi japanese version…..drumrolls pleaasssee…. toinkz!!  OGURI SHUN…. *_*  =) so kawaii!!

there’s more to him than just being cute and cool and all those stuffs you associate w/ typical actors…. he just shone out in my eyes bcoz he was just totally amazing…. he is cute… yes! and he is a great actor…. i immediately goggled his name and voila!…. was i surprised?!! we share the same birth date!!! O_o  his born a year later than me but heck! someone in the entertainment industry who share the same birth date as mine….!!! whoa!!  now my birth date is publicized!! hahaha!! ^_^

i’ve been on the hunt for an actor/actress, or whoever is popular that happens to share the date but never got lucky, till now….. ala lng…. it’s just a different feeling lng…. my sister’s bday falls into this day where many people are celebrating and i know of various well known individuals who shares the same birth date w/ her…. i ain’t envious… somehow i just have this thought that maybe there’s someone out there if not in the Philippines that celebrates the day just as i celebrate it…. hayyyzz!! things comes/happens when you least expect it! ^^

Shun did the part of vic zhou in the japanese version w/c is hana yori dango….

He did an awesome job being deaf in summer snow, a badboy in gokusen, a desperate virgin in stand up!…. i could go on and on….
he did various roles in tv and movies… and he very well did a great job w/ it all!!!

he certainly is endearing…. he has those cute eyes!  *sigh!*
when he cries it makes you want to hug him and make him smile…. nan!!

i’ve read that he was not really into acting but bcoz of this actress that he idolizes so much that he decided to get into the entertainment industry…. he even prefers being supporting actor than the lead role…. he is much comfortable that way daw….

i am soOo looking forward to his future projects….  i hope that as of this blogging, he is into a new movie or drama of some sort that would definitely be yet another best…. and of course showcasing a great talent that he is….
